David M Blum
David Blum was born and raised in New York. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with honors in 1987, where he majored in pre-law studies. Mr. Blum began attending the prestigious University of Miami School of Law in 1989 where he concentrated on immigration law, business law and litigation. He graduated in the top of his class in 1991. While living in Miami, Mr. Blum served as a law clerk to the Hon. Edward Moore of the 11th Circuit. He returned to New York and was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in 1993. After spending several years with a large personal injury/litigation practice in lower Manhattan, Mr. Blum became associated with the law office of Garamella & Rao, PC .
Mr. Blum has litigated and settled hundreds of cases in both Federal and State Courts, and has represented over a thousand individuals before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Immigration Court. Mr. Blum continues to act as a Judge in the New York Law School moot Court Competitions as well as a Judge in the Cardozo International Law Student Moot Court Competitions.
Mr. Blum is a member of ATLA (American Trial Lawyers Association), AILA (American Immigration Law Association) and the New York State Bar Association.
